EYE VISION is a superb eye supplement formulated with lutein for eye health improvement. It is packed with beneficial nutrients for eye health that can protect the eye from damaging effects of free radicals especially to the eye cells and tissues around it. Our Eye vision formulation is rich in alkaloids, phenolic compounds, flavanoids and terpenes which are very beneficial to your eyes and maintaining good sight.
It can enhance blood micro-circulation in the retina to improve the overall condition of your eyes. It is one of the best supplements for eyesight problem as well. Contact lenses or prescription glasses wearer will notice a significant improvement with Eye vision. Your eye power becomes better. This eye health supplement, eye vision can be incorporated as part of your eye care product to aid in the cataracts treatment.
The most common vision problems are refractive errors, more commonly known as near-farsightedness, far-farsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia. Refractive errors occur when the shape of the eye prevents light from focusing directly on the retina. The length of the eyeball (either longer or shorter), changes in the shape of the cornea, or aging of the lens can cause refractive errors. Most people have one or more of these conditions.
Near-farsightedness (also called myopia) is a condition where objects up close appear clearly, while objects far away appear blurry. With near-farsightedness, light comes to focus in front of the retina instead of on the retina. Far-farsightedness (also called hyperopia) is a common type of refractive error where distant objects may be seen more clearly than objects that are near. However, people experience far-farsightedness differently. Some people may not notice any problems with their vision, especially when they are young. For people with significant farsightedness, vision can be blurry for objects at any distance, near or far.
Astigmatism is a condition in which the eye does not focus light evenly onto the retina, the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye. This can cause images to appear blurry and stretched out. Presbyopia is an age-related condition in which the ability to focus up close becomes more difficult. As the eye ages, the lens can no longer change shape enough to allow the eye to focus close objects clearly.
Most digital screens are back lit and emit blue light, or a high-energy visible (HEV) light wavelength, which is said, can cause irritation and possibly long-term damage to the retina. Blue light is also known to suppress the sleep hormone melatonin, causing an artificial feeling of wakefulness and disrupting sleep patterns, which can add to eye strain.
Eye strain from hours of screen time can result in eye irritation, dryness, fatigue or blurred vision. People with myopia, or near-sightness, and other vision issues like hyperopia, astigmatism and presbyopia, may be at increased risk for digital eye strain. Dryness, caused by reduced blinking while staring at screens, is also a common factor in digital eye strain. A person’s blink rate is normally about 15-20 times per minute can decrease by up to half when people are fixated on what they’re viewing on a screen. Figure 1 shows the product picture.
SYMPTOMS OF VISION PROBLEM
Symptom of eye vision problem may include:
• Severe, sudden eye pain
• Recurrent pain in or around the eye
• Hazy, blurred, or double vision
• Seeing flashes of light or sudden bright floating spots
• Seeing rainbows or halos around lights
• Seeing floating “spider webs
• Seeing a “curtain coming down” over one eye
• Unusual, even painful, sensitivity to light or glare
• Swollen, red eyes
• Changes in the colour of the iris
• Itching, burning, or a heavy discharge in the eyes
RESULT/ DISADVANTAGE/ DRAWBACK OF VISION PROBLEM
Cataracts: is when the lens of the eye becomes cloudy, so that the vision becomes blurry.
Glaucoma: is caused by raised pressure inside the eyeball, because of problems in the eye’s fluid drainage channels. The increased pressure in the eyeball damages the optic nerve.
Macular degeneration: is an eye condition associated with ageing.
Refractive eye conditions: is problems related with focusing of the eyes. When the eyes can’t focus properly, vision becomes blurry which can also cause headaches and tired eyes.
Signals sent from the photo receptors travel along nerve fibers to a nerve bundle which exits the back of the eye, called the optic nerve. The optic nerve sends the visual signals to the visual centre in the back of the brain where the experience of vision occurs.
Many people think of lutein as “the eye vitamin.” They use it to prevent eye diseases including age-related macular degeneration (AMD), cataracts, and retinitis pigmentosa. Consuming foods with lutein or lutein in supplement form EYE VISION, is easily transported around the body, especially to the parts of the eyes called the macula and the lens. In fact, there are more than 600 different types of carotenoids found in nature, but only about 20 make their way into the eyes. One of those 20, lutein and zeaxanthin are the only two that are deposited in high quantities into the macular portion of the eyes.
The antioxidant abilities of lutein and zeaxanthin helps to fight free radical damage caused by blue light or sun exposure, a poor diet and other factors that increase the risk of developing age-related vision loss or disorders like macular degeneration and cataracts. In the process, antioxidants like lutein and zeaxanthin protect healthy cells while halting the growth of malignant cells. Therefore Eye vision helps in this conditions.
Within the eyes, one of the most important functions of the lens is to collect and focus light on the retina, which is exactly why the lens needs to remain “clear” and free from the cloudiness that is indicative of cataracts. The major reason the lens becomes cloudy is damage due to oxidation, which is why we need antioxidants to help neutralize free radicals. Even in people who have existing eye damage, including plenty of lutein in their diet can help to stop the condition from progressing and further damaging vision.
